It is a grand old hotel that obviously tries to keep itself to a high standard, but needs further improvements to the property and a bit higher standard of service for the staff. "This hotel was a high quality hotel, with good sized well decorated rooms, which are now 'old style'. The two pools are impressive, as was the buffet on the 40th floor. The hotel is about 10 minutes walk to Guangzhou East station (much smaller than the south). The taxi to the the fair was just 50rmb and took 10 minutes. For the money i paid it was a bargain "
