Location is good. Metro station to Line 1 is within walking distance of about 10 mins from hotel. Just next to the hotel are big shopping malls - Grandview, Parc Central and Tian Cheng etc. There is a nice residential neighbourhood where you can take a walk around to have a feel of how people in Guangzhou live and quaint shops and cafes. One thing lacking in the room is a coffee machine. Breakfast at the hotel is average. Stayed 5 days there but I ate pretty much the same thing every day.

The location is superb, with a mall just next to it where you can find eateries and a supermarket at the basement. Check in is at the 5th floor and it’s relatively quick though the number of counters available is rather limited. The hotel is well maintained generally but not very updated. For eg there is no USB charging points in the room at all, and the “no disturb” and “please make up room” sign is based on paper hanger at the door instead of electronic indicator as seen in many other hotels around China. Room cleanliness is ok though pillow case and towel do have faint smell of cigarette.
