The staff are very friendly and helpful. The facility is too old. It’s difficult to figure out how to switch a light and to adjust hot water. There could be an introduction video to teach customers to use this facilities. Besides the light is too dark in the room.

Superb location just next to Taipei train station. Breakfast is amazing with many of the taiwan delicacies such as braised pork rice, yong he soybean. Decor is delightful as well. Absolutely enjoyed my stay and will be back again.

Arrived on April 3rd and departed on April 6th. Our stay coincided with an earthquake. The property seemed excessively dim for our taste. Throughout the nights, particularly in the early hours, the lights and television frequently flickered off, possibly related to the earthquake. Despite experiencing an earthquake during the second night, it was bearable. However, the lights and TV continued to intermittently turn off. On the third night, both the lights and TV ceased functioning altogether, leaving us in darkness. Although the walkway lights remained on, we found it uncomfortable to sleep without proper lighting and eventually resorted to activating the lights using the AI function. Considering the premium price we paid and the experiences we encountered, I am hesitant to choose this accommodation for future trips.

The staff was very professional and accommodating. They gave excellent recommendations for dining and aided in all requests asked of. Shout out to John and Ken and Patty at the bell and concierge. Our room was close to the elevators and we rarely heard any noise from the hallways. Only concern was the lack of information and communications to the room after the earthquake! Not really holding that against the hotel.

I found my stay at Palais De Chine to be quite pleasing overall. The room was tidy and well-arranged. Nonetheless, I think there's room for enhancement in their staff's English fluency and a need to cease the morning interruptions for room cleaning checks.

The location is good, it is central and next to Taipei train and bus station. The hotel staffs are very friendly and courteous. They make you feel VIPs here. There are a few down sides though. For one, there are a few homeless around next to the property (on the walking bridge). The hotel looks kind of old. I am not really sure about its age, but it looks old and dark. In fact, the entire facility whether it is lobby, room, restaurants, they are too dark to my taste. It makes it look not too enticing to stay

Lighting in the hotel is dark and depressing. Right out of a Halloween carnival ride. Otherwise the property is nice but it's lighting practically ruins everything.

The tv in my room has broken audio. Impossible to listen to it. The implementation of the environmental friendly policy is simply wrong. I cannot see how it can help to make the hotel more environmental friendly, but just make it inconvenience for the customers. The AI room environment control is stupid. We need to talk to the AI console to switch off all the light. In the middle of the nite, after going to the bathroom. I have to talk to the ai console to switch off the light, which in turn wakes my wife.

Very French motif & ambience. Lobby & restaurant were a little dark for our taste but pleasant, nonetheless. Rooms were very comfortable, clean & well stocked. Staff was super friendly & helpful. Breakfast buffet was sumptuous with wide selection. Dining was awesome with very, very reasonable prices. Convenient to train & bus stations with many dining options in the main terminal. Overall, a great experience. Will definitely go back.

I find my one night generally quite good but colour theme a bit too dark. Some people may not like it. Lighting too dim but i am impressed with the water dispenser. It really makes sense to use glass bottles to take water ( the machine looks atas too and very clean concept) instead of bottled water. Well done!!!!!!!

I stayed for 6 nights with my family. We all love the hotel. The service was good and the staffs were nice. The only thing is the lighting inside the room is a bit weird. We could not find a good lighting for make up even the dressing table. The light on the mirror is too shiny and the reflection made us couldn’t see properly. Our make up finishing were not too good. Besides this everything is fine especially the location. It is super convenient.

Hotel is amazing, directly opposite Taipeh main station, easy access to mrt, airport rail , taiwan rail and HSR. Plenty of food options around hotel Hotel staffs are super helpful,friendsly and service with a smile. Happy that hotel is focus on environment sustainability.

I loved everything this hotel has to offer. The staffs are great, professional and friendly. The location is unbeatable, super close to the Taipei main station. The food is delish, especially their breakfast buffet. Stay here, you won’t regret it!
