"I recently stayed at this hotel that is nestled in the middle of a forest, creating a cozy and local atmosphere. The staff were friendly and accommodating, adding to the overall positive experience. The ambiance of being surrounded by nature was a refreshing change.

"Absolutely fantastic week at the Santa Catalina - Royal Hideaway Hotel!!
Half board, so we got to enjoy the delicious daily breakfast at the Hotel followed by dinner at the 1890 La Bodeguita - fabulous food & service at both!
The hotel is just so beautiful and staff cannot do enough for you through your entire stay!
We had 3 spa sessions to enjoy even more relaxation during the stay!

"A nice residence very clean and comfortable, Only issue i had may be the time of year i visited is there are very restaurants or places to eat within walking distance of La Fonda, A friendly local bar next door and a shop 200mts away you don't really need much else The roof terrace is very good for just chilling out, The terrace is ideal for plane watching as you cannot miss anything into or out airport "
"Hostel itself was really nice, cute decor with great kitchen and laundry amenities. Quick walk to the beach and bus station. However, the area around the hostel was not the nicest and it was a long walk to the historic centre to find nice places to hang out. There was also a problem with cockroaches in the room that made it very difficult to get a good nights sleep. Steer clear of the ground floor rooms!"

"The best thing about this hotel is the staff and the food. The property is a lovely art deco style building that needs some updating but the rooms are spacious and the views of the port are great.
The third time we have stayed here, the buffet breakfast is great with a nice selection and the food in the bar is great too.
Staff are always so friendly and accommodating.
Close to bus connections, easy walk to Triana where there is a great selection of shops and restaurants.
Kids love the pool on the roof terrace although it was a bit windy during our stay so we didn’t spend too much time there.

"Great for kids and parents. My 3 year old loved it. Room were spacious , the mattress weird. No conditionner just shampoo. They could have nespresso machine instead of instant coffee and their mini fridge is not cold if you plan on keeping milk for your toddler, had to use a cooler w ice. They got free apples at reception and there’s a grocery store 2 min walking distance."
"Overall was a very good stay, albeit I must say the beds were very uncomfortable. Two single beds for a couple and with those top up very thing and soft mattress that aren’t really a mattress and are horrible for your back. Bed frames also had breaks that were not working so the frames would also easily move.
When we checked in we were told the pool closing time was at 7, however I got in the pool at 17:55 and got told off by the maintenance guy telling me pool closes at 18:00 and it is o my in summer it closes at 19:00. Gran Canaria is a sunny island and I think the pool should always stay open until 7 so that people can take advantage of it."
