"This is a delightful olde world charm hotel with very friendly staff, great rooftop restaurant and 3 minute walk to the gorgeous Cress beach.. The lobby is very welcoming. I will certainly return. "

"This was the perfect experience for what we needed. The house is impeccably kept, and super cute. It is on PCH so it's a bit loud, but loved we had privacy with our own bungalo and separate outdoor area with a grill and firepit. The parking was easy and super close by, which we loved. It was also easily accessible to the beach if you're willing to go on a walk and climb hills. If we had anything to nit-pick, it's the bed. The bed is really uncomfortable. We loved all the storage and the bathroom was great as well - but the bed slopes on one side and is really hard. We even bought a mattress pad after the first night, and it didn't provide too much relief. Other than that one minor complaint, the rest of the stay was fantastic! A hose at the water spigot outside would also be beneficial for rinsing off sand and avoiding overuse of the water on the patio. We will definitely be back as we have family in Laguna and Ladera Ranch and the location and coziness was perfect!"

More family friendly than expected based on the reviews but wasn't an issue for me and my wife even though it may have been if a couple wanted a more adult heavy enviroment. "This is a cute, quiet, cottage-like, hotel directly on the sand with beach access! I checked in on 3/21/26 at about 3pm and the front desk staff was incredible. "Amazing place to relax, rejuvenate and visit Laguna Beach. Although it’s on the PCH, once inside its historic grounds, you will be transported to another place. . Many delightful corners to enjoy the California sunsets and beautiful weather. The amenities, food on site and staff are the icing on top! This boutique hotel does not disappoint! A short walk under the PCH to a hidden beach. "

"The Host was great. Rooms were clean and nice!. Its in a nice quiet area near a golf course. Found shops nearby for shopping and a nice Nigel Donuts/bakery for breakfast and many other places in Dana Point. Host helped us a beach with free parking and we were able to enjoy a couple of days in a nice quiet area in the hills of Laguna Niguel. It is a Condo which part was converted into a VRBO. "
