There wasn't a pool as advertised. Access to the beach was unsafe due to too many steps. Food limited to appetizers though good. A few miles from the main beach Fees added even though I had paid them through expedia.

Our stay was amazing. The staff was friendly and helpful and the hotel itself is in a great location. Tons of shopping and restaurants within a 10 minute walk and only a 20 minute walk/5 minute drive to the downtown of Laguna Beach

Room was very small but clean ,no room to put anything at the sink not even a toothbrush but location made up for all the negative thing book this again in a heartbeat.

Property is very old but conveniently close to dining options & easy access to the beach. My room did not have a TV signal, so we were moved to another room, unfortunately, that room's TV had no signal either. Not a deal breaker but would of been nice if the TV was working. Otherwise, manager & staff was very nice & helpful.

I enjoyed the unique boutique vibe that the hotel has. It’s super quaint and everything surrounding the hotel is easy access. I will definitely be back for a little weekend getaway again. I would highly suggest this place over the big name hotels.

I saw the amazing reviews and thought pshhh. Yeah we will see about this! And it did not disappoint. If you like history and charm and the hacienda style you’ll love this hotel.

Room too small for price. facing street with bathroom window that didn’t close. Cars revving and loud music from cars. Cell phone charger did not work. Air conditioner super loud. Sink in room rather than bathroom. Last night my husband was bitten by fleas. Sewer smell from drain in bathroom.

Location and price was great. I wasn’t a fan of the parking across the street in a parking lot. But it’s a coastline hotel so I guess limited room to park is expected. The hotel overall is very old, there was a “wet” smell in the room and a “sweat” smell in the bedding and pillows which made it hard for me to sleep. Overall enjoyed our stay and felt safe while there.
