I arrived v the garage & passed the toilet & it stank of garbage & faeces. The 1 receptionist was unhelpful when i arrived - my booking hadn’t been received (I’d made it last minute about 1/2 hour b4 I arrived) & was told to a) wait in the “lounge” adjacent to reception & help myself 2 tea\coffee or b) go 4 a walk because it might take a while. I asked the receptionist whether there was water available & was told I could fill my water bottle in the bathroom (as previously mentioned it stank). I sat in the waiting area 4 a few minutes organising my trip on my phone & the receptionist came back over & suggested AGAIN that I should go 4 a walk while waiting. I had emails 2 send so I declined, she left but accepted a phone call & literally LEFT THE BUILDING (note this was the only staff member). She was gone about 5-10 mins. She returned because another guest had 2 check in - the couple were Chinese and I overheard her being very condescending. They were clearly straight off a flight & when the receptionist asked 4 the guests name it appeared as though he used his first name & when it was eventually worked out that it was the wrong name & he gave his surname the receptionist told the client that he should use his last name. She accepted another personal call and I left. I called as soon as I left 2 request a cancellation & was denied - I explained my experience & was denied a refund despite the fact I never entered the hotel room I paid for.
