I am 66 years old and have stayed in hotel/hostels all over the world. The Terminus Hotel may well be the best! The online descriptions do not do it justice. New, clean and numerous bathrooms; as well as comfy sheets, pillows and towels. The pub was fun and friendly. The location is very walkable and buses run right by. Make it your base of operations in Sydney and enjoy your stay.

Before stay check room if somebody clean the room

Maybe to people like students is good place but not to me, to auto service and to take tea or coffee is to go to another floor with so many stairs very difficult to go and dangerous with hot coffee or hot tea, first day I can’t to take shower because not hot water and they repair very soon, the room need to clean better, dirty down the bed and lump dust.

The decor was fresh and beautiful. I loved the tiles in the bar and the cleverness of the whole restoration. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The staff were friendly. The beer prices were $1.50 more than the hotel across the road and there were no traditional beers on tap sadly.

Lovely spot with the restaurant/bar attached which had great food and service and offered a discount to guest! Definitely would recommend. The room we had did have a few minor limitations but for the price it was excellent value for money and in a great location. Would book again

Basic Hotel, traffic noise-accommodation offers free ear pluggs. Easy to travel to downtown Sydney by buss. Bar downstairs provides excellent bar food. Cheap stay compared to alternatives

Friendly bedroom on a bus route that takes you direct into town. Refurbished authentic pub pleasant staff.. share bathrooms but they are spotless. I really enjoyed my stay, lovely walks around in safe neighborhood full of eating and drinking places , yet very quiet and near the water..
