Great location in the heart of it all. Great value food. Not the biggest rooms in the world but clean and comfy at a good price. Tiny bathroom… be careful you don’t smash your face in on the sink when getting up from the loo like I did!

Parking was advertised, but not on the premises. Staff not very sociable or happy. Leaky shower, loose cold water tap. No wine glasses, no plates, no Utensils. In general very ordinary.

Unpleasant experience, boiling kettle in room rusted badly at the bottom but was replaced after my request, TV remote not functioning but could not find a replacement. Shower bath hot water tap leaking and cannot be completely turned off.

The bar staff downstairs were fantastic but that was the only plus. Traffic noise kept me up all night. Did not feel safe - door to corridor had a door chain as well as the handle lock but there was a gap between the door frame and wall that I could see through. Another door in the room couldn’t be locked and opened on to a balcony shared with other rooms. One of the power points was hanging all the way out of the wall. The ensuite worked fine but was extremely run down, with mouldy grout. My bed didn’t have a fitted sheet and the flat sheet used instead was so small (couldn’t be tucked) I constantly ended up on the bare mattress. The “blanket” was a small, rough mattress protector sandwiched between the bottom and top sheets so if I hadn’t remade the bed differently, I would have had it against my skin or slept on a bare mattress - gross! TV remote was missing a battery so didn’t work. Bizarrely, one of the four curtains was on backwards. Thought it would be ok for the price and did expect it to be basic, but there were so many cheap and easy fixes/enhancements left undone that it felt unreasonably frugal.

Staff is fantastic. I'm just not used to check in being at the bar and it's not 24 hours. Then after check in at the bar, I have to get out onto the street to go next door to the accommodation. The room is small but clean and comfortable bed . There are tea and coffee, bottled water and some biscuits. Wifi is good. Air conditioner is not working. Luckily the temperature outside was good. Toiletries and towels on the bed because bathroom is small . Overall the room need refurbishing. There should be a chair at least. Price is slightly on the high side.

Sewer smell coming from bathroom, bathroom door constantly derailed unable to access from inside bathroom, AC didn’t work several attempts, small for 2 people, some sort of pink liquid sprayed all over room, no refund , just left never staying again
