"The location was great to walk to almost everything. Was able to take a trolley to the park for a tour which we would highly recommend. The room was very clean. Shower was great lots of pressure. The gifts that were left in the place was very thoughtful. Would definitely recommend for anyone we know coming to Maine - bar harbor. "

"The rental was outstanding. Clean, conveniently located, close to downtown Southwest Harbor restaurants and stores, but just a couple blocks down the street so it was nice and quiet. Great, convenient parking right behind the building.Helpful, fun information from the host, along with outstanding communication from the host Ed.We loved this place and would highly recommend it for anyone heading to the Acadia area or just looking for nice getaway.Thank you!"

"This was a small room. Fine for one person, but could be a nuisance for a pair if they have significant luggage. The shower is cramped. Easy to get in. I didn't initially realize there were more supplies in the office downstairs (soap, creamer, etc.). There is also a general store & gas less than a mile to the west. The location is a bit further from both Acadia and Bar Harbor than most options, but not significantly so where you'd have to really plan for extra time to get anywhere. The nearby...

"The house is so cute and our room was lovely. Host was super responsive to problems. The room had a great set up in terms of furniture and the bathroom. Loved having a fridge. You probably are more attentive than me but I didn’t understand that there was no microwave on property so just plan accordingly. It’s a converted old house so you can hear everything just as something to be aware of depending on your needs. The biggest problem for us was the mustiness. It really activated allergies,...
