"This is a fantastic place to stay in Bar Harbor. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the view from our balcony was beautiful. The staff was friendly and professional. They have a breakfast buffet that is so good--lots of variety and high quality items. It's a very short drive to either Acadia NP or to downtown. We hope to return someday."

"The room was nice and clean and the bed was very comfy. Our stay was great but there were a couple things that we had a bit of an issue with. First off, we didn’t get any room service the whole time we were there, even with the sign on our door requesting it. We had to go to the front desk to ask for extra towels and toilet paper. When we did ask they were very helpful and friendly but it would’ve been nice to have it been taken care of without prompting. We stayed in the building that was broken off from the main cluster of rooms. The other thing that bothered us was the smell of the stairwell to get to our room. It was pretty terrible. So bad to the point that we would hold our breath so we wouldn’t have to breathe it in while going in and out. The terrible smell stayed consistent for our entire stay. The rooms smelled good and fresh, it was just the stairwell. This might not be something every person would take issue with but I have a very sensitive nose, so smell is something I can’t help but consider lol. These issues weren’t anything major and we did have a wonderful stay. With us staying in the off-season, I can see how these things may have gotten overlooked and not prioritized. Besides that, the property is very easy to get to and it’s only about a two minute walk from the shops and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again."
