We loved our stay here with our 13 year old granddaugher. The property is lovely with beautiful views of the water and lots of places outside to sit and enjoy the scenery. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was always pleasant and helpful.

Super easy to stay here! Our room was always cleaned and stocked every day, early in the day. All the employees were super nice and fun. I like that this is a stop on the Island Explorer buses so it made it super simple to get into Bar Harbor and Acadia.

This place was amazing!!! I don’t have one bad thing to say! We loved our room, the 24/7 coffee bar, the grounds were beautiful, the view was spectacular! I could keep going and going! If I ever get to come back to Acadia National Park I will stay here again. No other place will do. Thank you for a great trip!

Loved the location! We had an ocean view room and we watched the sun come up directly in front of our balcony every day. Staff were friendly and helpful. Emre was a terrific doorman and very helpful! Loved the amenities including the free use of the laundry ( so important for families and hikers).The restaurants were just okay, but it was nice to have poolside service. I appreciated the shuttle service to Bar Harbor and the fact that the hotel was close to but not in Bar Harbor, so we could get away from the crowds of tourists. The grounds were kept impeccably. We really enjoyed our stay.

I loved the location of this property. Close to Bar Harbor, but much quieter and easy access to Acadia National Park. My room was nothing special (standard room with a parking lot view) but it was super comfortable, and there are so many places around the propery to enjoy the bay views, I did not feel deprived not having it from my room. Service was excellent. Lots of seasonal workers from all over the world, perhaps lacking in experience at times, but their enthusiasm and willingness to serve more than made up for that. I would definitely come back here again.

My wife and I had a truly wonderful stay at Holiday Inn Resort in Bar Harbor. The location is beautiful, and we loved reading by the water as the sun set. The rooms, the grounds, and all the facilities are very clean and well-maintained. The staff and management are so kind and accommodating, we felt completely taken care of. Would highly recommend this for a high-quality stay a short drive from downtown Bar Harbor!

We were greatly impressed by the Holiday Inn Resort. The oceanfront setting is immaculate with a path along the water. There are several very good restaurants, a well-maintained ocean front pool with a restaurant/bar, tennis courts, a friendly staff that welcome all visitors (even a greeting by an enthusiastic doorman), and a beautiful entry that leads to a restaurant with great ocean views. Perhaps most useful is bus service that connects several hotels to the Bar Harbor town square. The hotel, which is a short distance to the ferry to Nova Scotia, provides a bus schedule with a map of Bar Harbor. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well maintained by the staff. It is a great place to which to return after hiking and exploring the national park.
