Little Fig Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Great friendly B and B. Kina made our stay. Friendliest desk person we have had in a long time. She brought true southern hospitality to way north in Bar Harbor! She had great suggestions. "
"Great stay at Seasider. The snack bar was a huge bonus! Manager was great in changing our reservation when the ferry was cancelled. Very walkable to everything. Would definitely recommend. "
"We only stayed here for one night, but would definitely return. The view was amazing and we enjoyed that it was just far enough from town to be quiet, but close enough for a short drive for food and shopping as well as seeing the park."
Holiday Inn Resort Bar Harbor - Acadia Natl Park by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"The staff was extremely polity and understanding. They changed our room to a quieter one despite the peak season. The cleaning service was very neat and reliable. "
"Loved the Ivy Manor Inn. Right in the middle of everything happening in Bar Harbor. Loved the fireplace and balcony in the room, loved the outdoor space with music and cocktails, loved the staff who were all so helpful."
"Our room was large, clean and comfortable. It was on the upper floor in the Ocean View building and the view was wonderful. Parking was easy and the Island Explorer stopped at a nearby building regularly. (We toyed with catching the bus at the neighboring Hampton Inn, which might be even closer.) We walked into Bar Harbor several times. We didn't try the restaurants on the Wonder View/Blue Nose property. We also didn't visit the gym or the pools. The gift shop in the Blue Nose is very nice as were the staff we encountered throughout our stay. Our only complaint was with the water temperature in our shower. It fluctuated wildly during a shower, which could be chilling or scorching without warning."
