"Overnight stay before an early morning flight. Room very comfortable and location for check in at T2 in the morning was literally 4-5 minutes to check in desk. PERFECT Location! I know London and airport prices are steep but please when you charge 12.5% service for food, have the decency to remove the line for a tip as well. If I have a similar flight again i would ABSOLUTELY stay here!!"

"DO NOT BOOK IF YOU’RE ARRIVING AT TERMINAL 5. It took me over an hour to get there with train and lots of walking. Otherwise great hotel."

"Very basic …….. I know it’s called ibis budget but I would expect to get tea/coffee making facilities in the room you used to as I have stayed here before this has obviously been taken away very penny pinching!!!! "

"Staff ignored our request for twin rooms and allocated doubles instead, despite acknowledging our request and agreeing in advance we’d have twins. The sink wouldn’t drain. The light from the air conditioning controls was very bright and the room was horrendously stuffy so we slept terribly. The location was good though and very convenient "

"Staff friendly and nice at check in, though room not cleaned properly, seems previous occupants liked to empty their milk and sugar on to the chair pulled up to the desk! Housekeeping failed to miss this when cleaning the room. Stayed in a cosy double which had a full length mirror, I’ve stayed in many of the rooms at Oatlands and even some of the more expensive rooms don’t have full length mirrors which I find odd. Curtains hanging off the rail - this is so easy to sort I fail to see why these things aren’t sorted promptly and plug in the bathroom sink was broken. I stay for the convenience for work and most of the time it just hits the mark - this time was just a below standard really. "
