Great little hotel that used to be a nunnery with lots of related character. The included breakfast was great. The hotel was clean, simple, and just what we had hoped for.
Quaint hotel overlooking the coastal city. Great food options walking distance.
Property itself was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully decorated. Huge spread for breakfast even though we were one of the few guests that night (off-season). There is a church at the center of the hotel as well.
It is a nice quiet hotel next to the harbor. Rooms small but nice warm and clean. Common area is decorated by love. Great lookout and backyard for the Northern light. Our night there was so peaceful and lovely.
Breakfast is nice. Refill comes consistently. Nothing to complain about.
Staff was not friendly at all. We went for breakfast 9.45am said good morning and she didn’t respond back. She told us that she is closing in 10min and removed all the food by 10am, I wanted to get hot water for tea and she refused to offer and said kitchen is closed. Very rude staff and bad experience to stay. Will never recommend to anyone. Weird elevator to take your luggage to second floor.

Ok
The room is a bit small and the setup is hard for us to open our suitcase easily in the room. No thermostat to control the temperature and we found out we have to turn on knobs of the aerator to keep warm. The internet was weak to.
Good Spot to End the Day on Snaefellsnes Peninsula
This hotel is directly connected to a retirement home, and they're finicky about where you park. I had to move our car around back... where none of the doors can be opened. So then I had to walk back around to the front. But otherwise, we had a really comfortable stay and a nice breakfast the next morning.
I wish we had spent more than one night at this property. The staff was so friendly and helpful. I don't remember the name of the front desk person but she was from Poland and so very nice! Parking at the hotel is limited but very convenient. Our room was clean and comfortable, and because the hotel is so close to the water, we could hear the waves crashing at night. Breakfast was delicious and you could tell that the woman in charge of the breakfast area took pride in her work. The town is pretty small so we were able to walk to most places from the hotel very easily. It's a perfect place to stay if you're spending a day or two touring the Snaefellsnes Peninsula, Very close to Kirkjufell and other sites on the Peninsula.
Our room was huge (because we had to book the last room and it was a room for 4). It had a sitting area with sofa, coffee table and chairs. We had a beautiful view of the harbor. the bed was comfortable and there a coffee maker in the room. The receptionist was incredible helpful trying to get us dinner reservations - which are needed as dining options are few. This is a small, cute town so everything is within walking distance from the hotel.
This is a wonderful hotel - brand new and very clean. Nespresso machines in the room plus excellent breakfast with many options! Hotel staff are truly caring and kind. Highly recommend this hotel! the town is lovely, with great restaurants and walking options all around.
Amazing hotel. Has all the amenities one needs and it was very clean. Front desk was also very helpful and very nice. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Clean. Great location and breakfast!
Great stay. Clean. Great location. Breakfast was great!!!!!
Good sized room with comfortable beds. Friendly staff. The breakfast was the best of all the hotels on our trip, no cooked items but everything was fresh and a good continental selection. There was also a Coffee machine in the room. Nice evening walks by the harbour. Make sure to book any nearby restaurants you wish to visit.

a cool old monestary that has been converted into a hotel. The chapel is still in the downstairs area and it appears it is still in use.
A super friendly young lady at check-in made everything enjoyable. We ended up with a room on the second floor with a corner view and just about 50 feet from the ocean. What an amazing turn of events from where we were supposed to spend the night at Myvatn. Instead, we ended up spending 2 nights at this hotel and saw the aurora both nights. The second night was amazing and the aurora moved and danced for a little over an hour. It wasn’t even too cold, or we were just too engrossed in the beautiful display to notice.
