"A wonderful place to stay. It was really a mini-cabin, with a kitchenette and a couch, plus a long bench on which to lay suitcases and stuff. Very clean and very well thought-out, with a Scando interior. Bath was ultra-modern. Quiet, bright, and with big windows and nice lighting. Best of all, we got to see the Northern Lights! "We got stuck in snow traveling up the road to our cottage, and it was very scary for us. The road should have been closed sooner than it was, but nevertheless our host helped and came to get us. "the man and women at the front desk were amazing. they went above and beyond for us. we were in a car accident (rear ended) on our first day in Iceland (about 15 minutes from the cottages) and were very stuck as we couldn’t drive the car or make phone calls. we got in contact with them and they not only picked us up but moved us into a room in the main part of the building so that we could be close to the front desk to use their phones to make many calls back and forth to our car rental company....
