"I read the mixed reviews and chose Macaw Guesthouse anyway - I am glad that I did. It was a reasonable option in expensive New York City and it was as described. Charming hosts who went out of their way to welcome me and ensure that I was comfortable. Short walk to transportation options and dining options nearby. Highly recommend and would stay again. "

"This hotel had a wonderful location. It’s connected to Grand Central Terminal, so you can easily have access to the food court and the subway without ever having to step outside. It’s also just a few short blocks from Times Square, Rockefeller Center, the library, Empire State Building and more! The Chrysler building is just next door.
