"My stay at the Diplomat was lovely. It is an elegant hotel in a beautiful, historic building. The charm of the water across the street and being able to easily walk to the tram or subway near was super convenient. My room was well appointed with nice linens and a comfortable bed. "Fabulous hotel right on the water. If you can, book a sea view as we did; it adds to the

and general experience of an excellent hotel. I really loved that there was a bath and very good shower in the bathroom and the addition of such nice toiletries was a welcome touch. We ate in the restaurant and had the most delicious meal. The service from everyone we came into contact with was exceptional. Thr hotel seems a long way from central Stockholm, but we took the ferry from outside daily...

"The hotel is dated. There were no washcloths, the towels were thin and rough and the general condition of the room was worn down. The rooms look into a lit part of the airport lobby through oddly small windows (even if you book an upgraded "runway" view), so the effect is looking into a courtyard rather than looking outside. The location is great (inside the terminal), but next time I would book a different hotel even if it meant a few extra minutes walk to my flight. "
