"Staff and breakfast were top notch. Our hotel room was conveniently located close to the clubhouse, breakfast area, bar, courtyard with a variety of child friendly games, and pool. My only complaint was that we specifically booked this hotel because it had a pickleball facility and we discovered upon arrival that it was closed for maintenance."

"A friend of mine and I zipped over to Monterey for a quick weekend trip. We decided to stay at the Martine Inn after looking at the photos online. We both love old Victorian style bed-and-breakfast, and this one did not disappoint! I could just feel the history in this dwelling! Not to mention, I thoroughly enjoyed all the antiques, the views, and the breakfasts! I will be taking my husband back there in the near future for a getaway!"

"We had suite with two double beds and a pull-out queen. The room and common areas of the hotel were recently renovated and clean and comfortable. The breakfast was great, and it was a 2 min walk down to some of the areas along the Monterrey waterfront. Two complaints made it less than a 5 rating: 1) we got in late and there was almost no parking available. We got the last very tight space in the parking garage. 2) the pull out bed was very loud, meaning it creaked every time one of our kids moved."
