"We had a wonderful time at Lake Tahoe. The house was conveniently located and had a community access to the lake. The Tahoe City area of the region seemed to be a little more upscale than other areas, but was also friendly and welcoming. We would definitely stay here again on a future visit. Thanks!"

"Beautiful large home in a great location. Easy access to Tahoe City and Sunnyside. Large driveway with ample parking, including a two car garage. Beds/linens were comfortable and the bathrooms were perfect (a shower in every one!). We were 5 couples and never felt crowded. There were plenty of places to “do our own thing.” Basically, we had three different couch areas, including the fantastic game room downstairs - complete with a var area and ice maker. The kitchen was amazing, with a gourmet stove, as well as 3 ovens plus a microwave. There was a great selection of pots and pans, plates, glasses, as well as serving dishes and basic seasonings. The trash compactor was a life saver. Remote controlled exterior shutters made us feel safe (from bears) at night. The host was easy to contact and was very accommodating. Oh, the backyard and deck were spectacular! Manicured and plenty of chairs and tables. Like the house, the backyard had different areas we used to spread out. We highly recommend this home and look forward to our next annual trip; hoping it’s available!"

"Quiet place, however it is very small. I wouldn’t recommend it for a group of 4. We were 2 adults and a toddler and it was just right. The kitchenette is tiny and the fridge will freeze your food all the way through."

"Our family enjoyed the time together at this property and made lifetime memories there. Lots of space and spaces for large gatherings and quieter conversations. We were comfortable and appreciated the proximity to local attractions, especially the bike/walking trail. Michael was very helpful and promptly responded to any questions we had. There was a bear in the neighborhood during our visit, so be sure to follow the protocols. I might suggest an inventory and organizing of the kitchens. We spent a fair amount of time hunting for things. As examples, we found the attachments for a hand mixer but never the mixer itself. Only 1 cheese grater, all the baking pans downstairs, etc. Nothing too important, but a little inconvenient. An available vacuum would have been much appreciated."

"PROS:- [ ] Walkable to private beach- [ ] Lots of towels- [ ] Lots of space- [ ] Deck and spa- [ ] Host (Barret Woods) was very responsive to chat questions - [ ] Beds are very comfortable - [ ] House is mostly cleanCONS:- [ ] Needs an information binder (Tv, master bath spa instructions, outdoor spa instructions)- [ ] Kitchen floor in front of sink warped and bows- [ ] Master bath jacuzzi tub dirty when jets turned on Mold came out.- [ ] Only one roll of paper towels for a house for 12- [ ] Cabinets don’t close fully (previous comments and pictures from previous guest)- [ ] Shampoo and conditioners only 1/4 full in all bathrooms- [ ] Lack of air flow. Single AC unit on the stairs. Cannot open all windows as some have no screen or the screens are ripped. - [ ] Would greatly benefit from a front door screen door or kitchen screen door."
