"Easily our favorite hotel in Monterey area. Enjoy free parking, walkable to nearby Lover’s Point beach, several great restaurants as well. The rooms are clean and comfortable. We also really enjoy all the small details such as the complimentary glass of wine in afternoon or their delicious breakfast in the morning. The staff is also always friendly and helpful."

"The historic home is decorated in early 20th century fashion so is unique. Except the kitchen has modern appliances and is well equipped. There's also a separate office type area. The dining and living room areas easily accommodated our family of 4 adults and 2 children. Everything was clean and neatly setup. We enjoyed the location, being walking distance to Lovers Cove, downtown PG,and even the Aquarium. The Monday farmers market is great. The Natural History Museum has good exhibits and special activities for children. However if you're physically challenged think about whether you can manage stepping in/out of the claw-footed bathtub! It's an authentic feature but could give you pause."
