"This was our first time staying here and it certainly won't be our last. The shepherd's hut is beautifully decorated and has such a cosy and comfortable feel to it. The under floor heating kept it lovely and warm too despite the snow outside (which also made it super pretty). The outside space was so private and had a fantastic view over the fields and to the hills beyond. Our favourite thing was sitting out at night by the fire pit and relaxing, looking up at the stars. "The hotel was exceptional , the rooms were amazing and the food was 5star . The only issue we have is the manner that the head or I presume the head of service in the breakfast restaurant spoke to her staff . She in our view needs to put on a course for man management. I have to say if we had been spoken too the way she addressed her staff we would have walked out . She was the only let down in the whole of the hotel . "
