"Absolutely beautiful place; definitely want to go again. A lovely welcome pack with a bottle of wine and some doggy treats. There's even bowls and dog towels.My only issue was there was no hoover to clean the rug. Both my dogs are white and it's noticeable when they shed, which seems to be all the time.The area is extremely dog friendly and it was so nice to be able to take them everywhere with us. The beach is literally over the road."

"We had a great time at Seahaven. The whole property was a great. Fully equipped kitchen, excellent hot water, the bath is amazing. Beds were clean and comfortable although could do with mattress toppers on top singles and double. The property was clean but not sparkling and we had no access to a hoover to keep on top of things only a brush. The dog friendly beach is right on the doorstep and there are miles of walks to take your furry friend on. The two pubs are nice although only 1 excepts dogs. Easy reach to other towns in the area. All in all we had the most relaxing time and have booked to go again later in the year. "

"Located in a very peaceful area of Cumbria, just north of the Lake District. Lots to explore, well off the beaten track and away from the melee of 'The Lakes'. The cottage was very comfortable, a little quaint and old-fashioned with no wi-fi, but good mobile reception. Overall, very happy with the cottage and the holiday."

"Seascape cottage exceeded all my expectations. It was warm and welcoming on arrival. There was a lovely welcome pack which got things off to a great start. Everything was explained clearly leaving nothing to ambiguity which was lovely. I loved the character and the little touches and, as I was there for the beach and the birds, it was perfectly placed. I had a really lovely experience and would both recommend the cottage and will book again. Thank you."

"Disappointed that towels (or tea-towels) were not provided - even though I rang before travelling to confirm that they would be provided - the property advert should give a full list of amenities provided (or not) so guests know what to bring with them / Only 4 mugs available for 6 guests ?!? / Beds a bit uncomfortable/small/narrow for a 6'2" bloke (springs rather than mattress) - expected more for 'Gold' standard accommodation (but I'm not a regular camper) / Not enough pillows / No taxi service available on Saturday evening - guests will need to book in advance / No shop on site for forgotten essentials / Nice pub/restaurant on site / Quiet and friendly site / Nice pub (Ship Hotel) in Allonby but need to walk along sea-front (stony beach) to get there (no safe road/path available) / Confusing who the booking was with and who to contact with a query - Expedia/Hoseasons/Lyons Manor House/Vrbo ?? / The Hoseasons 'My Account' that was offered didn't have the booking details."
