"Spacious room, comfortable beds, very convenient to Carlsbad Caverns, friendly staff, great price. Only downside is you need to drive to Carlsbad for dinner, as there is only 1 restaurant in Whites City which is open for breakfast and lunch. "

"At check-in the employee at the front desk was very helpful. She provided us with a good restaurant recommendation and told us about the laundry room for guests on the fourth floor. We enjoyed the hotel’s outdoor pool and noted that the pool area was well-maintained. Overall the hotel appears to be relatively new and is well-equipped with high quality appliances (microwave, laundry machines). The bed was comfortable. The hotel’s breakfast was not quite as good as other breakfasts that we’ve had on our trip (at IHG properties in New Mexico), in terms of variety, but we did enjoy the scrambled eggs and pancakes. Overall we enjoyed our stay and recommend Hyatt House Carlsbad."
