"This was our first family vacation ever, and I know that puts alot of pressure on the situation, but this place more than delivered on amazing!! We spent alot of time on both porches, admiring the spectacular views. It was beautiful. There were deer on the property that my kids had never seen, and that alone, made them so happy. "Cabin size was good. The cabin had cob webs on the ceilings. Walls and some wall fixtures were full of dust. The trim was also dusty. On our first night we noticed ants on the bathroom sink and they kept coming out through out the entire time we stayed there. On the first day there we were putting up a few things in a cabinet and my husband found a styrofoam container with beans. "

"I was at fault for misreading my email that check in was at 4pm. The cleaning crew came in right after my miscommunative call.. we toured the area giving the crew full time to clean for us. When we returned to unpack, we discovered some of our sheets and cases were not replaced, we noticed due to the saliva and booger residue left on a couple pullow cases. We cleaned every surface when we returned due to the hair and dust left on the coffee pot."

"Absolutely loved the size, setting and overall experience of this cabin! There are no properties directly next door. To the right is land, behind is a pretty ravine and empty lots across the street. The covered porch is ideal; lit with soft lights at night. The rooms are comfortable and have simple and beautiful decor. Love the open floor plan of the kitchen into the living room. The recent upgrades show themselves off and add to the overall comfort and flow of the space. We loved the hot tub!...

"This is our 2nd time to say at this particular VRBO. We love this little A-frame! It's the perfect size for us girls and we love sitting on the deck. It's close to Mid-town Ruidoso, so that's also a big plus."

"It’s a nice place! I enjoyed all the windows in the living room. East, south and West windows. Enjoyed looking at the River to the east of the living room. Kitchen table and kitchen window have a nice view as well."

"Very good. Kitchen stocked well, very comfortable beds, great showers, beautiful decks. There are a few minor things that need updating but they did not affect our enjoyment of the place."

"The cabin was great get away for me and my girlfriend. We enjoy the comfortably, cozy cabin. We did regret not being able to stay longer but our work schedules did permit it. But definitely would recommend to our friends."

"Overall great stay. The host was very communicative and friendly. Check in was smooth and easy and everything was just as described. Location of the house and neighborhood was perfect! Close drive to the mountain and super close to town. Bonus was the wildlife in the yards :)"

"The cabin was really clean, although the disinfectant smell was a bit overwhelming at first. The kitchen is well stocked for basic meal prep. The cabin is at the end of the street so was quiet, but it is still close enough to the main road so there is some traffic noise while sitting outside. I would recommend this place and would stay here again if I'm in the Ruidoso area!"
