"The Pilgrim Inn has a lot charm. The Fuller Pub has great food and drinks at very reasonable prices. The room unfortunately had old, dirty furniture and our toilet would not flush properly. We stayed there several years ago and would consider staying there again but I would hope that the above problems would be resolved. "

"We had a lovely stay,however we were slightly disappointed that the breakfast was cold.I had an unfortunate experience when drying my hair with the hairdryer,sparks and flames came flying out which was a concern, mentioned this to reception and was told it had been pat tested only recently However it wont put us off staying again."

"Easy check in online prior to arrival. Greeted by Nicole on arrival to hotel, she was very friendly. I was able to check in at 12:30pm for additional fee, which I was happy to pay. Check in is from 3pm. The room was very clean and bed was comfortable. Kettle and iron provided in room which was great. Good sound proofing from windows for the noisy street below. Unfortunately the water was cold when I arrived, so had to have a cold shower, but each time after that there was hot water. Good...

"Nice lady checked us in. Nice & warm in all areas. Nice bedroom. Had 18 stairs to climb though, not really suitable for the elderly, so ask for a first floor room. Television a bit small for the room but had lots of channels. Quiet area so had a good sleep every night. Convenient for the Mayflower theatre & not too far to the main shopping area if you enjoy a short walk. Close to the railway station too."
