"Kerb appeal was not very good.Parking was difficult and I would suggest making use of the garage would solve this problem. I thought that the photographs of the Chapel were much better than the reality.More TLC required in the building. Apart from that we enjoyed a good few days in Gorran High Lanes."

"The property was beautifully laid out and a lot larger than we expected. The beds were really comfortable and the living spaces were well laid out, practical and comfortable. The hosts,, Trudi and Ted,, were wonderfully friendly, helpful and made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. The cottage garden to the front with a bench and seating was an absolute joy to sit in - a relaxing view filled with flowers, bees and birdsong. In the village there is small shop,, fish and chip bar plus a cafe. Locally - Mevagissey is just a few minutes away by car, Large supermarkets in St Austell, stunning coastal walks right in front of the cottage, a small sandy beach in the village. In Gorran theres a really nice pub - the Barley Sheaf which serves food. If you love sandy beaches there a larger beach at Pentewan Sands - with the Ship Inn serving great food. The lost Gardens af Heligan is on the doorstep plus Caerhays Castle and Gardens and its beach and beach cafe. Further afield is Fowey, Truro, and St Mawes - all withing a half hour drive. The weather was great even though the forecast said otherwise and we had a terrific week in Cornwall made extra special by the house and hosts."

"Overall really loved the Hotel. Lovely view from our room over the bay. The staff were really lovely and helpful. One problem we did have was the menu shown on the website has obviously not been brought up to date. Before visiting we had chosen what we wanted from the online menu (which also stated a 10% surcharge) only to find a completely different menu on arrival with a 12.5 % surcharge. Having arrived after a long journey I ended up having a bowl of soup! This may be useful for future visitors as nowhere else to eat locally. The breakfast, however, was perfect."

"We spent an enjoyable week at this cottage in march. On arrival it was warm, clean & the wine & biscuits were very welcome. Communication with owners who live on site was good. They were friendly & helpful & there was lots of helpful info in the cottage. The gardens they've created are beautiful. The cottage was spacious for 2 of us & the kitchen was very well equipped with everything you need. The log fire was lovely though logs were often quite damp so it was hard work to keep it alight at times. Little Crugsillick is in a good position near to some beautiful beaches and places. Nearby Caerhays gardens were lovely. There are some nice local walks straight out of the door but unfortunately the cornish weather wasn't very kind to us & many paths were too muddy to enjoy but the cottage was nice to return to & the large bath a lovely treat at the end of a soggy day!"
