Little Crugsillick - a barn conversion that sleeps 4 guests in 2 bedrooms
8/10 Good
"We spent an enjoyable week at this cottage in march. On arrival it was warm, clean & the wine & biscuits were very welcome. Communication with owners who live on site was good. They were friendly & helpful & there was lots of helpful info in the cottage. The gardens they've created are beautiful.
The cottage was spacious for 2 of us & the kitchen was very well equipped with everything you need. The log fire was lovely though logs were often quite damp so it was hard work to keep it alight at times.
Little Crugsillick is in a good position near to some beautiful beaches and places. Nearby Caerhays gardens were lovely. There are some nice local walks straight out of the door but unfortunately the cornish weather wasn't very kind to us & many paths were too muddy to enjoy but the cottage was nice to return to & the large bath a lovely treat at the end of a soggy day!"
"We had a wonderful stay at the Lugger. My Dad is terminally ill and frail. He spent many summers as a boy in Portloe and one of his final wishes was to return for a holiday. Four of us from 3 generations went to stay.
From the moment i spoke to the team there about the booking to the moment we left they couldn’t have been more accommodating or understanding. Every member of staff went the extra mile to help him.
It was a fantastic weekend to relax and enjoy the hotel and the area with several great meals, good wine and fantastic breakfasts.
It all made my dad so happy and created great memories for us all. I highly recommend and just want to say thank you. "

"We had a brilliant stay at Froglets. Abigail was very friendly and helpful, with quick responses to any questions we had. The cottage was spotlessly clean and very comfy - perfect for our week long stay with our dog. We loved our stay and would recommend this little gem to anyone. "
