"Perfect hotel for an overnight before our flight"
The check-in process was seamless, there is ample parking, it is conveniently located to the FLL airport, and the rooms were well appointed. We only spent one night as we were travelling home from the Keys and had an eraly morning flight - this was the prefect spot! We didn't eat at the restaurant, but the menu looked delicious! And we didn't use the pool, but it had a nice ambiance.
The room was clean, the bed was extra comfortable and the pillows were perfect. My only complaint was the location of my room. It was on the first floor near some conference room. The claps, loud voices and music awoke me. I got in late, after 1 am and was awoken by the noise. I'd recommend a room area from conference rooms, banquet areas and on another floor
Pockets of nature thrive in South Fort Lauderdale. The Anne Kolb Nature Center in West Lake Park is a haven for fish, reptiles, and birds. Across the Intracoastal Waterway, sea turtles nest at John U. Lloyd State Beach Park, favored by locals for picnics and recreation. The Seminole tribe operates a zoo at the Native Village. There, visitors can see alligators and the endangered Florida panther.
