"We spent the days exploring the area (hikes, horseback riding, seeing lighthouses, exploring Portland etc.) and it was a nice place to come "home" to for my family (6 of us). We cooked a lot and the kitchen had everything we needed! It was a bit hotter while we were there (unseasonably I believe) and so we definitely used the window air conditioners. Overall the house was very comfortable for us, was clean and provided everything we needed! "

"The only big issue was that the VRBO listing gave us the wrong address. It sent us to Scarborough instead of Saco. Luckily we were familiar with the area and I knew that Saco was close to Old Orchard Beach, which was mentioned in the listing, so I did a google map search of the same address in Saco and it looked like the pictures. My elderly parents were relieved that we didn’t get scammed. Lol. The place was clean and large and easy to get on the highway. It’s 2 and a half baths, not 3 full...

"Clean, quiet, and comfortable respite from the bustle of the city. The property is well-stocked and welcoming. We had our own private outdoors area with a nice hot tub and seating area. Our family enjoyed our time at The Barnhouse. It was within driving distance to our various activities near the Portland coastal region."

The area around the home is beautiful and there is plenty of privacy. The first floor was a little warm during the day but cooled off very quickly once the sun went down. "
