"My husband and I and our two pups loved staying in Holly's family home. The home itself is very cozy. The master bedroom with King sized bed is super comfortable with the bonus of a flat screened tv on the wall. While this home is about 45 mins to an hour from Bar Harbor, we loved staying in a quiet area with very little traffic. Holly's home is located on a long flat road that my husband enjoyed running on without having to worry about traffic. Holly was a great host, providing information...

"This property was an affordable way to have an enjoyable stay near all the sights of Acadia. The ability to do laundry during our trip was a big plus as well as 4 twin beds for 4 adults with room to spread out. Generally we spent time exploring Acadia and Bass Harbor but having the house allowed a day of relaxation and puzzle assembly for some while others spent more time hiking. Owners were fantastic!! Would stay again. "

"We are familiar with the area and needed a place to stay while we did some work on our own property near by. The house is perfect and as described, we were all very comfortable. "This property is advertised as close to Acadia, but it’s at least 30-40 minutes away. It’s about the same to Bar Harbor. The property is well stocked with what you need to stay. The owner added nice touches like body wash in case you forgot your own. There’s extra pillows and plenty of storage. If you are looking for a quiet place to get away, this is it."

"Friendly, helpful, responsive host. Nice property conveniently located. We had a great stay!"

"We had a pleasant stay at the house with total 5 ppl. The house are still quite new, however, we would suggest to update all the cookware like frying pans and the pots. Also, it would be great if there is a BBQ grill available. Overall, we enjoyed staying at this house, 30 mins drive from Acadia park and close by all the supermarkets and shops. "

"This was our last night in Bar Harbor. The Anchorage was convenient in parking the car and making a quick exit the next morning. And also still walkable to restaurants, etc."
