"the staff were very helpful. The buffet breakfast was excellent you couldn't ask for more it was ready on the hot plate. The bar meals were good and quickly served. there were numerous golfers staying on Thursday evening and they were rather noisy. I was woken up the following morning at 4.30am by a loud engine noise - I didn't get much sleep. I was due to drive home that day. Not impressed. Perhaps this was a one off incident."

"The owner was very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. There was a good choice of food for the continental breakfast. The hotel is ideally positioned and you reach the seafront after a five minute walk."

"Hotel room was lovely and clean- sofa bed was already set up for us. Staff were wonderful making sure everything was okay at all times, WhatsApp number posted onto the check in desk if we need anything but can’t find anyone. We were given the choice as to whether we wanted the room left alone, or tidied. Hotel is Close to the town centre- lovely walk to Skegness pleasure beach, as well as fairydell (highly recommend if you have children under 12!!) Would have liked it if the curtains were blackout- with two small children- they didn’t go to sleep till it was dark, and woke up as soon as the sun came up… For the price it would be nice to have some sort of breakfast included- potentially just packet croissants in the rooms… Would be great if there was a list of close by restaurants as not many were on just eat- and the ones that were, were very expensive. Parking was a bit difficult- no spaces available when we arrived. Had to park around the corner…"

"Staff were great, very professional, room was clean, breakfast was good - though I can only speak for getting there by 8am. No issue with facilities and location was also less than 20 minutes flat walk from the train station and slightly quieter than closer into the centre which was good. Some maintenance/decorating/new carpets etc would benefit the hotel, so that may be something to expect but didn't impact my stay at all. The lobby ceiling was impressively painted and the building does have some real character. I would certainly stay here again if I was back in Skegness."
