"Everything was good "

"We had a fabulous 14-day stay. The house and property are exactly as advertised. Judy was excellent, in sharing a colourful guide to Telchac Puerto prior to our arrival, to sending a pic of Francisco the property caretaker (so you know who you're greeting), to making sure the hot meal provided on our first night met any dietary restrictions. The hot meal was wonderful and more than enough for the two of us for a few meals. Beds and furniture were comfy and the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you are used to at home. Honestly, the whole house is equipped with everything you need and it feels like a home away from home because it is one. Towels (lots!), shampoo, bodywash, games, cooking oils, coffee, ice were all there for us on arrival. Francisco was such a gem, and without perfect English manages to make sure your stay and everything in the house is running smoothly for you! Roll with the punches and ebbs and flows here. This is not Canada or the US with unlimited resources. The wifi can be spotty on occasion, there is not unlimited water on demand, the entire town may suffer a power outage for most of a day (as it did when we were there), and there will be mosquitos. Such is life. None of these things are controllable. Respect your resources available, and don't let any lack skew your stay at a very welcoming and lovely home - and have fun!Lastly, I would say that apart from the sand potentially, I see this house as accessible and mobility device friendly. "

"When we arrived at San Antonio Millet, we were amazed by the impressive sights of the hacienda (and the fact that we were the only guests for the entire time of our visit). The photos on the site do not do justice to the beauty of the property. The hacienda has been perfectly restored to the period making a stay there almost like a travel back in time. The personnel is composed of people who are locals of the small village around the hacienda, and who have been working there for years. It felt like we had come to family, as they treated us as such. We had long conversations with Angel and Jesús, the ladies who took care of our breakfasts and keeping our room were lovely to us. We had incredible breakfasts that changed every day and were prepared with skills and care. We enjoyed the gardens, the pools and the property with its incredible surroundings. There are bikes available, TV's in the living areas, a huge recreation room, all surrounded by the sounds of the rain forest. The bathroom adjacent to our room is indescribable, with Ferregamo amennities and plenty of fresh towels every day. Every need (such as insect-spray) is anticipated. I recommend this hacienda amply and consider this place and its keepers as responsible for one of the most remarkable experiences I have had in over 30 years of travels around the world. Thank you! "This property is very nice, the bedrooms are beautiful and the pool area lovely and very clean all round. We found there wasn’t much to do/see compared to other hacienda properties we’ve been to. No complaints on food or staff either, food was very good and excellent service staff. Just not a place we would return to for the price it costs. "

"The experience with staff and facilities was very good overall. The front desk and restaurant employees were excellent. The resort is very quiet and one might feel as if you have the place almost to yourself. There was a couple of downsides, that one might expect. You are in the jungle and there may very well be bugs (read spiders). They assured us that none are harmful. The bathrooms somehow are aging worse than the rest of the rooms. They should not have painted the showers etc as this has led to mold, at least in our case. All that said, for the price, the hotel is excellent, in general. We thank the staff for their kind attention during our stay."
