"Great place to stay, beautiful scenery. Room/villa was even more amazing in person than what the photos shown. Lots of great areas to explore on the property. Breakfast was delicious as well. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to return for our next vacation "

"Todo está muy bien , los baños un poco antiguos pero en general todo muy bien , la chica de los masajes es una maga me quito el dolor del nervio ciático , lo único poco mal es que se escucha mucho cuando tienes huéspedes enseguida . "
"What really made this hotel stand out was the incredible staff. From the moment we arrived, they were warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. Every interaction was friendly and helpful, and they clearly take pride in making guests feel comfortable and well cared for. Their hospitality truly made the stay special.
The room itself was spotless and very well equipped, showing the same level of care and attention. The hotel also has a small pool and convenient parking, which were nice touches.
One of our favorite spots was the rooftop terrace. It has comfortable patio furniture and is the perfect place to relax in the evening with a glass of wine and enjoy the warm breeze.
Overall, this hotel offers a clean, comfortable stay, but it’s the wonderful staff who really make it memorable. Their kindness and attentiveness are what set this place apart."
"This place is so unique and beautiful but there were also so many small annoyances. Our rating reflects the disparity between our expectations booking a boutique resort that touts offering a luxury experience (at a much higher than average price point for the area) and the actual experience we had.
Pros:
The grounds are beautiful and appear as shown in the photos. The staff is polite, friendly, and attentive. The theming of the resort is unique with elements including the rooms themselves designed to mimic bird’s nests as also reflected in the name of the restaurant (Nido is nest in Spanish), and the naming of each room after a local bird. K’u also means nest in the Mayan language. The design blends nicely into the local environment. The food that we had from the restaurant was good with the chef and kitchen staff at dinner doing a particularly good job with the food and presentation. The cleanliness of the rooms and facilities was generally very good with exceptions noted below.
Cons:
Here we will itemize our long list of small annoyances.
Extra costs:
There is a “no external food or drink” policy at the resort. Onsite food and drink costs that were considerably higher than average. The drinks in particular were expensive. If you bring outside alcohol the resort charges a $500 peso uncorking fee to have it on property. It should also be noted that my husband’s coffee was consistently brought to him at room temperature. This menu item was listed at almost $7.00 CA"
"We had a fabulous time. Unbelievable spot no neighbors on one side and nobody in the house next-door. So peaceful, constant breeze perfect weather giant house great pool violet and Jorge were great. Answered my questions right away, although I had only a couple. Highly recommend."
"Truly delightful stay. Comfortable and stylish accommodation, extraordinary terrain with historical buildings full of artistic and vintage artifacts. Secluded yet safe. with the most friendly and accommodating staff. Excellent food in the onsite restaurant. Great for walking around, where birds, iguanas and even monkeys can be spotted. Impressive seiba trees. Artisan pottery souvenirs can be purchased directly from the artist.

"We are staying in Mérida for the month and wanted a getaway at the beach for a few days for New Year’s. LobLob was perfect. Great beach huts in a stunningly beautiful location far from other residences. Quiet, good food, sea breezes, and that clean sea smell. Our host, Marcos, was attentive and kind. A lovely combination. “Your private beachfront oasis in Telchac, Mexico.”
8/10 Good
"The house and artwork were beautiful. The bedrooms were very spacious and comfortable. We were two families and the kids really enjoyed the pool. The pool no longer has a fence around it and many of the rooms have been upgraded since the photos in this listing. There are no longer bunkbeds which was a disappointment for the kids. If you want to go on beach walks or runs, beware of stray dogs. We hired cooks which was amazing, but the cookware in the house was in really bad shape and had Teflon peeling off, which is disappointing. We were not able to sleep in the master bedroom as the wind made the glass slider rattle so loud you couldn’t sleep. We were here during March which is a windy time of year. I would definitely stay here again, but the place would be a lot more comfortable with some basic improvements. "
