"This was a good option for a base when visiting the region. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable, if a little strangely designed. A lack of sensible plug sockets (we had to boil the kettle on the floor!) and the water from the shower went everywhere because there is no shower tray - yet is not a wet room! We found parking stressful, we arrived late at night and found no spaces free thanks to inconsiderate parking from guests, the hotel would do well to mark acual spaces. We did squeeze our tiny car alongside the bins for overnight, and then after heading out early could not get a space at any other time during our stay. The night porter did help us at one point by explaining that the street parking would be ok overnight as long as we moved again by 8am. Given that we were on a three week road trip we had a very full car and this wasn't ideal. We would have liked to try the restaurant but couldn't as they seemed to stop serving earlier than advertised. We were told it was 'fully booked' at around 8pm despite lots of empty tables, we think they just didn't like that we hadn't pre booked. All in all this hotel was good enough and comfortable for a short stay and maybe better if you are less busy and have less luggage, but for us it just has a few fracture points that in all probability would not encourage us to stay again. The town is charming and we found good options for both breakfast and later dinners, just don't go out too late as the options dwindle."

"We had an veranda and it was amazing view and ambiance. The hotel is clean and perfectly situated right in town. We were disappointed that we only stayed 2 nights. Hotel aside, what really clinched it for me to cause me to write this review was the service. I had forgotten my laptop and immediately the cleaning staff notified us but we were already on our way to Paris. The hotel then helped coordinate the laptop to be shipped back to Canada for me and kept me in the loop the whole process. Valentin - thank you for making a stressful situation much simpler! Highly recommend the staff and the hotel, I hope to be back one day."

"We arrived late and the concierge was a really kind and helpful despite her limited English. Although the hotel is about 10 min walk to the medieval downtown I felt was great away from the noise and easy access to main road to continue our journey."

"Perfect hotel room exactly where you want to be. It does require some walking with luggage and there is no parking close by so highly recommend small bag you can easily carry. Fortunately we had read about that beforehand "

"An absolutely beautiful hotel, great location too. We parked in the paid road parking outside the hotel - it’s free after 7pm until 9am so was fine for us. It’s very stylish and the room was really chic and comfortable. "
