"We stayed at this hotel from 9/9/25 to 22/9/25 and the only thing we can advise is do not stay at this hotel if you come from a western country. The staff treat the people from the UK totally different to the Chinese in the level of service they provide. We booked a Deluxe Harbour View room but upgraded to one with Club access and we were glad that we did. The room had a great view of Victoria Harbour but the hotel did not comply with our request of a high floor. The room was on the 12th floor but most club rooms were between the 18th and 20th floors. The reason we upgraded to one with club access was that breakfast was included in the price. Although it was somewhat limited in the choice you had, and was mostly warm at best, it did save us quite a lot of money. However, the club room staff were annoying because they watched your every move, and as soon as one of you finished eating they would come and take the plate away. Despite this we were glad we did have the club access because all meals at the hotel were extremely expensive for what they provided. With regards the 5 star rating this hotel is given at best we would rate it a 3 star playing at 5 stars. Concerning the location it is to far out of the main attractions although the MTR is close. Therefore our advice is do not stay at this hotel and stay at one of branded hotels like the Hyatt if you are from the UK or English speaking country. "

"Although northpoint isnt prime location for hongkong, but the hotel is well connected with public transport and easily reachable via taxi. Water front property so you get great views and rooms are very spacious for hong kong standards and modern. Hotel also does a great job at promoting the local area. "

"Lovely hotel, typically meant for business travellers. It is very near to the MTR station, and is about a 35 min ride to TST. I would take the travel time in exchange for this lovely hotel in any case - big rooms, lovely staff. I was also upgraded to a corner room, the room was huge and I really felt that I could unwind away from hustle and bustle. It was also very safe (even in T8 typhoon warning conditions by the water). As a solo female traveller, I never felt that my personal safety was at risk here even though it is quiet at night. The Kwantung Promenade near the hotel is a lovely place in the early mornings and at night for a nice walk / run. There is a really nice coffee shop round the corner (29 coffee). There is a pool and gym at the top floor but I did not utilise these."
