Great location, easy to drive around town, or head out to explore; 8 minutes from Hallgrimskirkja. Has free parking in front of hotel, spots are few and a bit tight but i had no issues. Quick market walkable behind the hotel if you want to grab snacks. "

"The location is very central to downtown Reykjavik. Everything is within reasonable walking distance. We told the hotel that we were there for our engagement and the hotel accommodated us with pastries and rose petals. The bar and restaurant was very delicious. If you bring a car the parking is a little confusing and tight but very reasonable."

"The hotel itself was very nice and cozy, the rooms were clean and comfortable. However, the “free parking” is misleading. It is actually street parking nearby, most of which is paid, some of it is free. However it is not clearly marked, some of it is a couple of blocks away, and most of it is full. We came after a long red eye flight and long day with no sleep and had to circle the block for 20 minutes to find parking until we decided to risk it at an unmarked spot. Thankfully it was safe parking and our rental car was still there. I would warn anyone who is booking this location for the “free parking” that it’s not on the premises. "
