The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was a bit on the smaller side, but it had everything we needed for our 6 day stay...oven, fridge, hot plate and even toaster, so that you can buy bread and eggs from the local grocery store (Bonus) ,and have a delicious homemade, inexpensive breakfast to start your day of Icelandic adventure! Many of the touristy sites in Reykjavik were all within walking distance. Highly recommended, and we will stay there again, if were to return for a longer stay.

My family of 3 stayed for one night. The room was nicely decorated and for a small kitchenette, it was very fully equipped! We appreciated the lift and friendly receptionist. The property is a walk away from the main shopping area but there are restaurants short walk away.

It was an amazing stay for us. The room was one of the best I've stayed in - clean and modern with a fully equipped kitchenette. Better than the room was the staff - Kamil, the main man, went out of his way to make our stay as comfortable as possible and also arranged our travel after check out. Kuba was very courteous and helpful as well. We will definitely come back to Candlewood Suites when we visit Iceland again.

Very comfortable stay especially if you are traveling with kids. Rooms include small kitchen with microwave and refrigerator. It is a walkable distance to groceries, multiple restaurants and for bus stops ( for boarding if you book the tours). Staff are very courteous and friendly and always greet you with a smile:) Highly recommend especially for the price and the comfort of stay with easy accessibility.

Central location in a quiet yet very convenient area. The room was comfortable, well equipped, and the Wi‑Fi worked very well throughout our stay. Fire alarms were set off approximately 11:30pm. Unfortunately after an international flight this was very intrusive. The alarms continued to sound on and off for the better part of an hour with no clear understanding from the team as to how to get them under control. We ultimately left in the middle of the night to find another hotel, as my son was concerned the alarms would continue to sound and could not get back to sleep.
