The location is perfect! Right in the main touristic street but not in the middle of the action, which could be noisy in summer. Staff was always willing to help, but sometimes there is only one person taking care of the cafe and the front desk at the same time. Going back to Iceland, that's where I will stay.

Great location, the piggy supermarket is right next to the hotel, very convenient. The staff were very helpful and they also upgraded my room. The room was clean and the heat on the wall was very warm even if you left the window opened. The shower room was a bit small, but over all definitely worth to stay for 4 nights.

Hotel Von is perfectly situated in downtown Reykjavik with everything within easy walking distance. The staff are wonderful and very helpful and all speak perfect English! It is on a busy pedestrian-tourist street but we did not have any noise issues and there are many parking options all around. There is a very cozy cocktail bar attached and next to the reception area which I highly recommend. I would definitely choose to stay here again!

We loved the location and cleanliness of the hotel. The little cafe was also nice/convenient to get breakfast and coffee from. My only critique would be that pillows on the bed weren't very comfortable and the bathroom towels seemed old/scratchy. Everything else was great!

Clean room with a comfortable bed. It’s on the main road with lots of shopping, restaurants, and bars all in walking distance. Since you’re on the main road our stay was pretty noisy even while wearing ear plugs to sleep. Also parking can be difficult and we had to walk several blocks with our suitcases to and from our vehicle for checking & check out.

The location of this hotel is perfect! Centrally located and close to most favorite tourists’ stops. Besides having a small restaurant on premises, there are tons of other eating venues just by walking outside. We also found it convenient to have a nice supermarket right next door. The staff is outstanding!! Misato at the reception desk and the rest of the girls there were kind, sweet, polite and very helpful. I highly recommend this establishment!

The location was great, right in the middle of the promenade. Parking was tricky but if you can remember to park in the P2 zone where it’s cheaper by the hour and free overnight. We found a spot two streets over. The room was great and exactly how it was described.
