"Close proximity to Keelung night market. An old building that is undergoing renovations. Facilities say no smoking but the rooms and hallways can be quite suffocating of smoke scent (clearly people do not follow rules). The room was simple but spacious however the smoke smell in my room was making it difficult to sleep. Would not suggest this hotel for anyone who may have asthma or other allergies."

"A boutique hotel located close to the temple night market. Location is great for sightseeing near the port of Keelung. You can take direct bus service for a day trip to Jiufen right at the back of this hotel. "

"I've never been more disappointed at the difference between the pictures and the reality. They are "accurate" but it's a 4/5 place not an 7/8 place to stay."

"Great property, was a good experience being able to stay in a more traditional home away from big hotels and further from the tourist areas of Jiufen. The home was fully stocked with everything we needed and the extra food and drinks were appreciated. The only issue we had was that the location on Google Maps was not accurate and we got lost trying to find it the first time; however afterwards we realized it was actually in a great spot not too far from the Old Street. "I checked out of this hotel after the first night. The property has extensive water damage and mold growth throughout the roof. When I checked out I asked for a refund on my remaining nights the manager informed me I needed to go through Hotels.com after weeks neither U line or Hotels.com will make it right. Avoid this toxic environment for your own health."

"Staff is very helpful to help settle down into the room and readily come over when help is needed. Allows early check in once the room is ready. Comfortable bed."

"I loved this hotel; we stayed there for five days and were sad to leave. Wi-Fi works really well. The staff are courteous. The environment is clean and comfortable. It is also accessible by bus and within a short distance from the MRT. Bring warm sleeping clothes because the rooms are very cold ❄️. Management told us the air temperature was unadjustable (even though there is a thermostat in the room), but they provided a portable heater which helped warm the room—no other complaints. Staff can also speak some English, which was a huge plus. "
