"Upon arrival, I presented valid identification, and the front desk representative, Anna, acknowledged the reservation but asserted that the payment method provided by Expedia was declined. Anna stated she had attempted to contact Expedia multiple times and claimed the calls were unsuccessful. This representation was contradicted when I personally contacted Expedia and reached a representative within one minute. Expedia confirmed unequivocally that payment had been successfully processed and transmitted to the hotel. Despite this, Anna refused to accept the confirmation and declined to check us in. The situation was further exacerbated by unprofessional and inappropriate conduct. Anna repeatedly placed Expedia representatives on hold, provided incorrect hotel identification information, and engaged in a loud and confrontational exchange in the presence of multiple guests, including families with children. At one point, she stated she was “getting pissed off,” which is wholly unacceptable in a customer-facing role. Her inability to provide accurate operational information and her conduct directly prevented resolution. As a result of your staff’s actions, we were denied accommodations after more than an hour of attempting to resolve an issue that was not of our making. This constitutes a failure to honor a confirmed, prepaid reservation and reflects a breakdown in both operational competence and customer service standards. Horrible hotel. "

"Hotel is big and inviting with ceiling to floor glass windows, however, cleanliness of property leaves a lot to be desired. Our hotel room floor as well as that of my sisters were wood tile that was sticky and therefore felt as if though no one passes a mop on them, only a vacuum or broom. The steps that lead to the floor from the lobby were dirty and one step was missing a piece and was patched up with duct tape. The steps had a spill on it, caution board was placed over it, we left in the morning and when we got back after 9 pm the board was still there. Curtains in rooms were stained, need upgrade. Breakfast had no protein only the usual waffles and toast and the like. Hotel was convenient on US 19, has a gym and laundry room as well as pool, we had a first floor room overlooking pool in the distance, but very walkable, overall property needs update in the lobby chairs and other areas of the hotel. The rooms were good size and the bed was comfortable. We were there 4 nights, we found it to be a good hotel but needs thorough update and cleaning. Oh the planters next to parking lot should have plants and not let guests use them as ashtrays or used as weed growers. Stay was good, but the little things show care in hotel and guest experience. Paid about 100 dollars a night if slightly more. The lady who took care of the breakfast area was friendly, helpful and always approachable with a smile. "
