Amazing Cabin in the Smokey’s

Our stay at this Smoky Mountains cabin was nothing short of spectacular! The cabin was spotlessly clean. The views of the mountains were absolutely breathtaking, offering a stunning backdrop whether we were sipping coffee on the deck or soaking in the hot tub—such a treat! The game room was a huge hit, keeping us entertained for hours with family-friendly fun. The host was attentive and ensured every detail was perfect. Beautiful, clean cabin w/ a gorgeous view!

Perfect for large families or multiple guest-shared space. Two scenic porches and large screen TV's. Delightful fireplace and fully equipped kitchen, comfortable seating and stocked linens!

Quiet Getaway

We enjoyed our long weekend at this cabin. It was very quiet and easy access to Townsend, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. It was a nice setup and the lower level was perfect for my son and family to have some privacy away from the rest of the family at times.

2024 Winter break

Beautiful cabin, lots of room to spread out. Kids loved the pool table and arcade game. We saw bears 3 days at the cabin. Would definitely return!

Weekend getaway

We enjoyed the cabin it was perfect for 6 adults. Easy to get to with good roads. About a 15 minute drive into town. We would stay here again.

Wonderful peaceful place!

This place was everything in the pictures and was perfect for our family vacation! It was nice to have separate spaces in the house while still being able to spend time together. The host was very responsive to questions we had prior to our trip and very friendly! Highly would recommend this place to anyone staying in the Smokey mountains!

Lovely cabin

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and the space downstairs was perfect for the kids to play pool and video games. We really enjoyed the neighborhood and the closeness to all the attractions. The cabin offered a great Smoky mountain experience that we were looking for and will definitely be back if we are in the area again!

Great place for a couples getaway!

The place was clean, easy to get to and well equipped with cooking pot, pans, and glassware. Outdoor seating was plentiful and the fire pit out front is great! Just remember to bring wood. I would definitely stay here again. Communication with the host was responsive and they are very friendly.

This beautiful mountain cabin was great for our large family. It's well-located, well-furnished, and a fun place to hang out. The hot tub and fireplaces were especially popular with our group. The host was excellent with communication and very welcoming.

Great cabin in Smoky Mountains close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg

If you want the fun of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg with the comfort of a smaller town with more local options, this cabin is the place to stay. Clean, spacious, and true to the listing it’s a great place to rest and recover from your TN expeditions. The spacious living room leads right to the upper deck giving plenty of space for your group to gather. The lower deck leads to the hot tub and has plenty of outdoor seating for meals or relaxing. The covered hot tub makes it great to use rain or shine. The view is incredible and it is very quiet. When the clouds are low you feel like it’s just you on the mountain. But when they lift, you can see far but still feel secluded and immersed in nature. The host was very responsive before and during the stay. Would recommend and come back again.

Great location

We had a great visit. This location is perfect for those that don’t want to be right in the middle of the hustle and bustle of pigeon forge and Gatlinburg but want to be close enough to enjoy all there is to offer! We were just a short pleasant 10-15 min drive to the island in Pigeon Forge. Cabin was clean and well appointed! We were a group of 2 families with 5 adults and 4 pre-teen/teenagers and everyone had plenty of space to spread out. Would definitely stay again. Thank you.

Family friendly!

This cabin was gorgeous! We stayed with 2 adults and 6 kids and there was so much room that the kids alternated where they slept. The ONLY downside was that the bathrooms are very small especially the master bath. It felt like I was showering in an RV. Communication was great with the owner and it was stocked with what we needed.

Wonderful Cabin

Justin's cabin was perfect for our weekend visit to Wears Valley. The cabin was very clean and easy to find. It was a short distance to shopping in Wears Valley and Pigeon Forge. The children enjoyed playing pool and watching the big screen TV in the basement. Bunk beds were a big hit for the little ones, too. Justin was very helpful and responsive prior to and during the visit. I will definitely stay again.

Bear Necessities and then some!

We had an absolutely wonderful time! The cabin is spacious and beautiful! We did see bears while we were there and it was very exciting and we’ll have memories to share for a lifetime. My wife, son and his wife with 4 teenage grandsons did three days at Dollywood while we were there. The Cabin is located in a small very private area on the side of the mountain. the multi-level decks are great! grandsons loved the pool table and video game; Host was in touch as needed with messages of things to do in the area and to advise us about the bears. Family Labor Day Weekend Getaway

We spent a wonderful weekend in the Life Is Good cabin. The owner was quick to answer my questions and easy to communicate with. Checking in and out was a breeze. The cabin was in a great location right in the heart of Wears Valley and easily accessible. It was clean and the beds were comfy and we all slept well. The master bath was a little small but functional. The air conditioning works great and had upstairs and downstairs thermostats which is a big plus. The kitchen was well laid out and stocked. We loved having an upstairs and downstairs family room and the TVs were great. We enjoyed our time on the porch… sipping coffee and rocking and swinging in the hammocks and watching the sunset. We saw a mama bear on the property every day and spotted a juvenile one day. We recommend this cabin and the hosts!

Possible early check in was a joke

I ask if we could possibly check in early, as my son in law was coming off a night shift and needed a nap before dinner and fun in town! They said as soon as it was clean they would let us know and it was clean cause we were sitting nearby waiting, and owner just ignored calling to find out! So of course evening was started off badly and kids were over tired cause of our late start! This little event could have changed my rating, and may have caused me to be a repeat customer!!! We come to this area many times a year! Hidden mountain resorts will keep my business, they were booked is the only reason I called someone else! They are so accommodating

Cleanest place we have EVER stayed!! A+++

The location was perfect for us as we visit the smoky mountain area several times a year. We like to frequent the cades cove and pigeon forge areas most and this cabin was situated between. We travel a LOT, and this is BY FAR the cleanest place we have ever stayed. (Even over much pricier accommodations!!) HIGHLY recommended! Book it, you will not regret it! Things to note for other travelers (none of which were issues for us and we will ABSOLUTELY frequent this location!): 1. There are several outside steps you must traverse to access the hot tub (it can not be accessed from any level directly inside the cabin) 2. We drive a full size (ram crew cab 2500 diesel) truck - and we would have been HARD PRESSED to park another vehicle at this location with us. Luckily it was just us, so it was not an issue. 3. The mountain road driving up is in great condition, not AT ALL what I would consider dangerous (even in a full size vehicle) … however portions are quite steep so I’m not sure how that may factor for winter weather. (Again, full size 4x4 here - so it’s a non-issue for us) 4. There are many cabins in the immediate vicinity (so not very private if you were looking for that). It was not an issue for us, and we never really knew anyone was around without going out onto a deck and looking. 5. Great selection of games and movies!! Again … the above points are informational only for other travelers who might be seeking specific things. Thank you!!

Struggle with this review

I am having a hard time reviewing this. The home is great. Love the location, it’s very comfortable lots of space. Based on that it would be 5 stars. However dealing with Justin who I am not sure if he was the owner or management company was tedious. Basically the tenant before us took the Roku adapter in the living room and the remote for the Roku device in the basement leaving us with no working tv in the main living spaces. Of course this took quite a while to figure out what happened. I let Justin know the TVs were not working he said a maintenance man would come the next day. That never happened when I fallowed up because no one came. He then told us it was the internet it was not and we kept doing this na k and forth for days until the night before thanksgiving eve when he informed us that In fact the previous renter did take the device . All of this seems like no big deal the problem was he kept giving us the run around and it felt like he was just running out the clock so he didn’t have to pay some one a fee to come out and fix our problem. So home itself gets 5 stars Justin gets 0 he waisted our time back and forth thinking maintenance was coming twice. It would have been better if simply said he couldn’t fix the problem and was sorry for the inconvenience. If Justin is with management company the home owner should really think about who they are using. If this had been a bigger issue and he handled it this way it would be a real problem
