"Stayed four nights. Would have liked the same every morning scrambled eggs and sausage to change to something else like maybe omelettes and bacon . The four floor hotel only has ice machines on the first and third floors. Be prepared to walk a city block to park your car"

"We loved staying here it had that 'staying in a cabin feel' to it. The rooms were a great size and cozy. Location was convenient when coming or going outta town. And the lady that runs the place was so nice and accommodating, she came out to talk to us while we sat out in the patio area and chatted to make sure we were all good with everything."

"The location was so convenient for us, it was our first time being in Deadwood and having the hotel at the end of the street might seem off putting but it was quiet and having the covered parking garage was fantastic. It was a quick walk to get to everything and see main street. The hotel was clean, comfortable and having a quiet patio to chill out on was amazing. And the staff were so great if we had any questions or requests."

"Great place if you’re looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the Deadwood area. It’s the first time we’ve stayed at the lodge and it’s a pretty cool place. The beautiful scenery of Spearfish Canyon on the hiking trails right from the doorstep of the lodge is a must see. the Latchstring restaurant has awesome food no matter what you order. I’ve been to the restaurant a few times over the years while snowmobiling and it’s never disappointed."

"Great stay at a historic hotel. It was such a nice experience there. We stayed in Room 211- no ghosts joined us the two night we were there- but it was a great hotel highly accessible to Main Street. Room size was quite large. It was a ton of fun to be there during the Wild Bill festival too (which we did not know was going on). Just really had a good breakfast too at Bully’s. Amazing the great breakfast they can make there- the pancake can serve a family of 4- not kidding!"
