The breakfast is more traditional style, so I personally didn't care for it. I think the price is good for the quality of the food and presentation, but because I didn't personally care for it, I wish I hadn't included it in my stay. It feels like a upper class luxury hotel, so for the price its really amazing. Its in a great location as well! I'd recommend the hotel. I did try to public bath, but honestly I felt out of place being a foreigner maybe and was kind of uncomfortable, but nothing against hotel, it was all beautiful.

Nice hotel but can be noisy

The hotel is in a great location. Staff are nice and helpful. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The doors are not soundproofed and if you have noisy people on the floor as I did it can be disruptive. The public bath is nice and clean.

The hotel being located on Tanukikoji Shopping Street makes it easily accessible to shops, konbini (7-Eleven, Lawsons, Seicomart), Taito Station (claw machines), C-Pla (Gachapon), Mega Donki, coffee, restaurants, and more. Short distance walk to Susukino, subway stations, Odori Park, Nijo Market...quiet in the guest rooms, safe as you need a hotel keycard to access your floor via elevator. Only downside was that the rooms were on the small side (typical in a big city hotel) and we reserved two 2-twin bed guest rooms for our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids) because the beds were small. There's a hotel breakfast buffet (for a fee) and hot springs bath -- but we didn't do either. Too many choices around to eat in the hotel and just didn't have enough time for the bath.

Overall is ok

Excellent location, clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet not much food choices and keep the same for few days. No room service. If you need an extra pillow, you need to go to 2nd floor counter to get it youself. Limited car park available and first come first serve. Yen$2000 per night. You cannot take your car between 10pm to 6am. The lift design is not good, every time need to wait and stop at 2nd floor not matter going up or down.
