## Space

Immaculately renovated downstairs studio in a multi-unit building only two blocks from Downtown Santa Barbara & State Street. The original Spanish architecture has been preserved while offering modern upgrades & conveniences.

This 311 sqft king-bed unit has a flat-screen smart TV with streaming, casting, or Airplay features and a Samsung split heating/AC system for ultimate comfort. A private en-suite bath with a tub and a kitchenette with Nespresso, microwave & mini fridge complete this stay in Santa Barbara.

NOISE DISCLAIMER: This unit is below the upper units. It is possible to hear noises coming from above you. We notify the upstairs guests of this and ask them always to respect their noise level to avoid disturbing downstairs guests. Should you have any issues with this, please call us on our dedicated hospitality line, and we will contact the guests above to remedy the situation immediately.

*NO PARTIES: We have a strict 'No Party' policy-parties or events are not allowed. Quiet hours are enforced from 10 pm-8 am.*

*PETS: ONLY 1 PET ALLOWED (N/A to service animals, applicable to ESA's). A pet fee will apply; pets can not be left unattended in your room. Please add your pet to the reservation, or disclose your pet to our hospitality team after booking.

## Access

This is a self-serve stay. We provide contactless self-check-in. The doors are all equipped with smart locks, and a unique code will be generated and sent to you on check-in day.

Parking and EV charging (shared amenity):

Casa Jardin offers free guest parking in its private parking lot at the back of the property. Please use free street parking if the lot is full. One parking spot per unit on a first-come, first-serve basis. EV chargers are available for guests to use during their stay. Two shared J1772 chargers are mounted on the left side of the parking lot. Two shared Tesla chargers are located on the right side of the parking area. Please bring your own adaptor if needed, and please disconnect when not charging to allow other guests access to the chargers. Casa Jardin does not monitor parking spot use and we are unable to request guests to move their vehicles.

## Tech

This complex does not have live TV service. All TVs have apps (Netflix, Hulu, YouTube TV, and Amazon Video) for your streaming pleasure. The property has gigabit wifi, and the unit has a private network for guests to cast directly onto the TV.

## Interaction

This is a self-serve stay. We are off-site hosts; there is no front desk or office, and we provide contactless self-check-in. We have a dedicated hospitality phone line in case of emergencies (24/7) and our team is available on call, text, or chat during 5 am - 1 am to help assist you during your stay!

Located within walking distance to nearly all restaurants and retail stores on the State Street corridor, 20+ tasting rooms, 10+ breweries, and countless choices for eating or drinking make this an ideal location for anything that may bring you to the world-renowned Santa Barbara Coast.

Please note that there is an active construction site across the street, led by the City of Santa Barbara. Per the city's noise ordinance, construction work is allowed from 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (weekdays) and 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (Saturdays). Work is prohibited on Sundays and legal holidays. We apologize if you experience any disturbance due to this work - it is beyond our control :(

Perfect Stay

I visited my boyfriend for a couple nights and Im so happy with the experience we had with our stay. Theres B bikes just around the corner to help you easily get around and the street was very quiet. The amenities were also wonderful. Definitely staying here again :)

Great Stay

Great Stay

This was a great stay and will be back. The location is great if you don't mind walking you can get to State street or the SB Bowl in a short walk. Many other very walkable locations and of course you can drive or Uber. Private parking with charging stations. Customer service was very good as well. Happy with Casa Jardin and look forward to my next stay.

Exactly as described-

Spotless, minimalist design, and cozy!

Casa Jardin was a lovely place to stay. It was spotless--with a minimalist design aesthetic, and had high quality, non-toxic products (body wash, shampoo, etc...). The location is in a lovely, quiet neighborhood that is very close walking distance to restaurants, wine tasting, etc... Also, it was nice to have the mini refrigerator, sink, wine glasses and dishes.

Comfy and Cute

Such a comfy bed and very clean place. The bathroom was a great size. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash provided which is always a plus! They communicated so well and check in was a breeze! Great location, great value

We loved our stay at Casa Jardin. It was clean, quiet, and conveniently located. It would be nice to have some shelves in the bathroom, as there was no place to leave our toiletries. Also, the bathroom light comes on automatically when you enter the room which is nice in the daytime, but not great at night - it would be better if this were not automatic so guests could choose to turn on the light or leave it off.

Very comfortable stay with a firm (but not too firm) mattress. Easiest check in and out process ever. Had to contact the host twice, and both times I received prompt responses. Parking was easy in the back. Great location (close to downtown). We appreciate how there was a sound machine in the unit!

Don't stay in a downstairs unit

This isn't a normal hotel. It has no reception, just two rows of rooms stacked on top of each other. The room was clean and well-appointed. I didn't love that VERY BRIGHT LIGHTS would automatically turn on when you used the bathroom, but otherwise it's a solid and well-supplied room. My one complaint, and it's an important one, is that being in a lower-room unit is very noisy. First, the floors are very thin and non-insulated, so anyone walking around upstairs from you makes a lot of noise. Even worse, the building has masonry walls on both sides. So if you have neighbors upstairs and they have a window open, every word they say and everything on the TV will bounce off that wall and sound like it's happening an inch from *your* window. Not my best night of sleep. I would probably stay here again, but in an upper-level room.

Cute place / Nice neighborhood

The room was exactly as advertised. I loved that there was a spacious small fridge. The Nespresso machine with the coffee pods available was very nice as well. Loved the retro microwave. Also appreciated that there was dishware available to use. Spacious room. Felt almost like a studio apartment. Bathroom was also nice and spacious. Lovely shower. Overall, very cute aesthetic. I did however have an issue with the curtains. There are 2 roll down curtains. One seems to be a blackout curtain. There was quite a gap between the curtains and the window/door. It was very bright in the morning even with the curtains drawn. It also was a privacy concern. Lastly, the noise level of the people staying in the room above us was almost unbearable. It sounded as if there was a renovation going on. The noise was consistent until about 12:30AM. Couldn't tell if they were wrestling or rearranging the furniture. The neighborhood is very nice and quite but the walls of the building are very thin. I had a really hard time falling asleep because of the noise level. With all that said, I would stay here again because the room was lovely aside from the issue with the curtains. I would just definitely make sure to bring a sleep mask and earbuds and reserve a unit that's upstairs next time.

Great!

The place was new, very clean and bed very comfortable. Cute little kitchen with cutlery and dishes. Walking distance to restaurants. Couldn't get in at first but they gave us 2 ways to enter the room, one worked but not the other. The keypad on the door didn't work. Needed my cellphone to enter so my husband wouldn't have been able to get in if i wasn't there with him. Otherwise great experience. Would recommend.
