"We booked this very last minute because we decided at the last minute to visit Cinque Terre so I didn’t read too much about what it looked like. 1. The rooms are set away from the reception area and you have to go down gravel steps. I’m pretty young and ok with it, but my 66-year-old mom struggled. So be prepared for that. "Luisa‘s house was just what we had hoped for! We learned that it has been in her family for five generations, and is conveniently located in the middle of Monterosso. We loved waking up to the sounds of the city coming alive, and enjoying breakfast on the balcony. Both beds were very comfortable, and each bedroom had a balcony. Yes, the stairs were a challenge, but we considered them a great warm-up for hiking the Cinque Terre! There are dozens of restaurants within walking distance, and the wonderful beach is only a short distance away."
