This is a modest hotel, and it’s modestly priced! It has a 3.5 avg rating, I just think that’s not fair. No, it’s not lovely or charming, but I didn’t pay for those things, that’s another &200 per night on the central coast. Place was clean, everything worked, staff efficient, it’s 5 star with what’s it’s trying to do and the cost.

The staff was very friendly when I started staying here yrs ago the property was clean an rooms were also , now the rooms and walls an bathroom were nasty i was shocked only 1 lock on each door said they had guest laundry an it was so gross I wouldn't wash anything in it the parking lot was trashy I think ill be finding another hotel to stay at now

Okay place. Exterior of building looked a little run down. Room I was in was decently up to date. Linens were clean. Light up bathroom mirror was nice. Stairs, hallway, and the floor area by my bed and underneath really needed a good vacuuming. Wifi access was beyond slow and cell coverage for my cell carrier did not allow me to use my data instead. This was really frustrating for me. Morning coffee and sausage was good.

The room was fairly clean, the floor was pretty dirty. The hotel just look run down and shabby. The room or decently sized and it was someplace to sleep for the night. The complimentary breakfast was pretty good but the breakfast room is small and crowded. It is fairly close to the beach and Hearst Castle is just down the road. No one was at the desk when we arrived so we had to wait to check in and no one was there when we checked out so I can’t comment on the staff. Overall it was just okay.

I didn't love this one. The pictures are much nicer than the actual hotel. There was no artwork in the room like in the pictures. You could see where they attempted to touch up the paint but it was not the same colour. These are little things and I can understand this is a budget motel, but we stayed in three other places along the Pacific Coast Highway and I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the other places were at the same price point. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was very good. Overall, it wasn't terrible and if this is all that's available, it's ok, but I wouldn't stay here again if there was another option.

We had a nice stay and highly recommend this hotel. It hits the sweet spot for comfort, convenience, and value. The complimentary breakfast is a definite plus—there was a great variety of hot and cold options, and the coffee was always fresh. The location is ideal, situated in a quiet, safe neighborhood within walking distance to beach and fine dining. Best of all, the rates are incredibly affordable for the quality you get. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. A very good find!
