Great location, view from the room at sunrise with a coffee and listening coqui at night. Coqui water park, great time for our son with water slides. The best was Palomino Island where we spent an amazing day. Boat to Palomino Island should be bigger or more boats available, 50 passengers and waited more than an hour on line. But as soon we arrived to the island, it was worth. Just a 7 minutes walk to a local town to las Croabas, Café Playero is a must, very friendly locals and great food. A couple minutes away by car from La Estación, amazing food. Get an insect repellent, you will need it!!! Enjoy your stay!!!

This Property is amazing. It is sprawling with lush golf course leading up to a stunning lobby area. It has a bunch of restaurants and bar options. I would say the food was average and a bit high cost wise. The folks who check you in are pleasant but move very slow. My room was not ready and they said they would call and never did. Also I had a second room and I believe each room was 2500 for the week but they charged me another 125 to have the doors open to connect rooms. They did not have to do anything extra. I just unlocked both sides. I thought this was a bit over the top. The water park and palomino island were great. They did have nightly entertainment and all the pools were great. We used the valet to park our car and the staff was on top of every detail as far as the car was concerned.

Just left on June 23, 2024. The hotel is nestled in a beautiful place. Lots of greenery and plenty of places to take pictures. However, upon entering the drive to the hotel. You have a choice of valet or self park. We chose self park, but their are no markers of where to go after you park. We went through a back door that was open, and it felt like we walked a mile to the front desk with all of our luggage. Again, there is no signage letting us know where to go. We arrived at the front desk, and the check-in was easy. We received a "hello" but not a welcome to el conquistador, a glass of water. There are qr codes to tell you what is going on. Which cheapened the experience. We were offered a bell hop, but he did not add to the experience by offering where things were. Our room smelled like cigarettes 🚬 even though they promote a smoke-free hotel. We had to ask them to change our room, which they did. We arrived at our new room and it was ok. It was very outdated, and the tub was a sunken tub, which means we had to hold on for dear life to get in and pray that we don't slip. There was no sofa bed for the 5th person that was in our room. The fridge was not working well. They don't provide toothpaste or a toothbrush, which most hotels provide. The pools were visually nice but a little dirty, with bugs, hair, and leaves. While we were swimming, a dog was roaming around the hotel. We told staff, and they said he must have gotten in somehow. Thank God the dog was friendly. Their i

The property is beautiful. My family made many memories during our stay. I think this resort needs to update the rooms. For example, the room I stayed in had no water pressure in the sink.
