Great place for a short stay. The hotel is within walking distance to a lot of great attractions. I did have to email Hotel Gigi prior to my stay and they responded quickly and made sure everything was handled prior to my arrival.

This place is perfect if your going to an event at petco park it’s was two blocks down so it made it real easy to get back after an event. The only problem I had was the hallways of the hotel had a weird smell of food and it was only in the hallway not in the room. The room was clean there was WiFi and everything is close by.

The hotel room was what we expected based on the reviews we had read. It served its purpose of a comfortable bed and room to sleep for the night. Amenities are limited as it’s basically self check-in via emails codes for the doors, etc., which worked out perfectly. The room is very small. The bed is very comfortable. If you’re looking for a luxurious hotel stay this is not the place; however, if you’re looking for a convenient hotel room and great location, especially for downtown San Diego or Petco Park this is a place for you. The only negative for us was the TV was a pain in the fanny as it never did work properly after many attempts. We didn’t book the room so that we could watch TV; however, we like having it available for late night TV and in the morning as we’re getting ready for the day, etc. so that was a disappointment.

Good stay in this small room and there are no shelves to put your personal items such as toothbrush, combs, and soap near the basin and in the lavatory and shower cabin. The floor was dusty and not cleaned as you should expect a clean floor of a hotel. The location is very good if you plan to go to Petco Park to watch a Padres Baseball game.

The self check in with out a front desk clerk went smooth all the codes worked properly, not used to that type of check-in. The room was nice small but to the most part was clean, the shower still has some hair on the wall of the shower and the toilet was a little dirty. There were a lot of fruit flying the room which was annoying. The bed was nice and comfortable, it was a new memory foam cushion. When I exited in the morning I took the wrong exit and ended up in the basement or something and there were bags of trash on the floor with fruit flies all over the place, that explains the fruit flies in the room and hallway

The room was clean and directions were clear, but the room was bare bones; no refrigerator to store leftovers or conditioner in the shower. Overall, it felt safe and secure, and you get what you pay for. I would stay here again.
