Awesome place to stay

I could not be happier with our experience staying at this hotel. The breakfast was unbelievable, the staff couldn’t be more accommodating, it was clean and roomy.

We would stay again

Hotels.com advertised a 12 minute walk to the Riverwalk which was not the case, however there was a shuttle that we were able to utilize and we were thankful for that. Neighbors across the hallway were in and out of their room every 10 minutes or so throughout the night and the door slams loudly. It seemed there were several men in that room. If anything, white noise or fans for noise would be a great way to avoid dealing with that. There was a skunky smell after we showered, it made us wonder what the smell could be but we did not address this with the staff. The room was very clean and we loved the layout. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was great. There was a TV in each room. We would stay again. The kids really enjoyed their stay.

The staff are all very friendly, The hotel is clean but needs to be updated! The breakfast is good! The hotel has a shuttle and will take you to the Riverwalk and Market Square as well as other locations upon request.

We loved our stay

We loved our stay. Very relaxing and refreshing. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. That hasn't been the case at other places we have stayed in previously, where you had to ask for plates and utensils and hope they had some left by the time you checked in.

Family Gem

The hotel has relaxed setting. Rooms were clean and comfortably arranged. Kitchenette was a plus. Hallways and rooms adequately insulated from noise. Breakfast was very good and the staff was very accomodating. Will definitely be coming back with my wife and four kids.

Great, spacious family room!

Overall, the stay was great. The room was spacious and surprisingly had 2 bathrooms! The only complaints we had were that the water pressure in one of the showers was way too strong. It was painful and splattered water through the cloth shower curtain and soaked the floor.

WOW

I was shocked at how great this place was. The two bedroom had a full kitchen and there is a mini-HEB just down the street which helped us save money on food. The staff was great, breakfast had a lot of options and it was clean. It's hard to get there right now because of construction but once we figured that out it wasn't a problem. My only critique is that it was hard to get a pickup after we got dropped off on the river walk.

Not good

The beds were uncomfortable, floors had old carpet, sofa had mud from someone’s shoes on them. This place was NOTHING like the same chain I have stayed in before. We received no maid service for 4 days and they were still doing the bagged breakfast, which we ate one day and that was enough.

Very good hotel. Clean enough. Some of the hallway rugs and entrance doors need to be fixed or updated. The rugs were worn and stained in some areas and the lock on one of the side doors to the main building was about to fall apart. Coffee is not available for the guests past 10AM. That, to me, is a thumbs down. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. Very convenient walk to the riverwalk and other downtown areas. (10 minute walk) The gym could use a little more room and extra equipment.

Very nice stay. Even better than I expected.

I don't know if all rooms are the same, but I stayed in a awesome four persons suite with a well equipped kitchen (refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, cook-top), a living room with a queen sofa-bed integrated in a nice sectional and a bedroom with queen size bed. Flat TVs on both living room and bedroom. All furniture and utensils looked like new and worked properly, and everything was clean. The days were really hot (99-101F) but the AC was absolutely fine. I didn't walk around the neighborhood. Drove to Downtown to visit the Riverwalk area (it is about 10-15 minutes walking, but I have two little kids and that was really hot) and to Seaworld. But neighborhood seems kind of desert at night. Breakfast area is a bit small and you may need to wait a few minutes for a table, although I didn't need or see anyone waiting. I can say that I had the service that I paid for. Very nice stay. I'll stay there again.
